Love this manip but cant find the credit for it!

According to Twilight Examiner:

After reading below, answer me this: is this the most clever marketing tactic of all time or blind (and spooky) luck coincidence? On November 16th, the stars of The Twilight Saga: New Moon will line up in Los Angeles for the official premiere of the film.

The heavens, it seems, will also be lining up on that date as well. One Twitterer made an interesting connection between the date of New Moon's offiical premiere and the lunar calendar.
November 16th will also be the date of a legitimate new moon according to the lunar phase calendar.

Clever? Methinks so.

Moving right along, it seems that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse could be subject to a similar coincidence. The Twitterer's research proves correct in that on June 26th (four days before the release of Eclipse), a partial lunar eclipse will occur (with the next eclipse, a total eclipse, not due until December 21, 2010). If, like with New Moon's premiere, Eclipse's premiere takes place four days before the film's release, Eclipse will premiere during an eclipse, and New Moon will have premiered during a new moon.
Terribly fascinating isn't it?

It is and incredibly intelligent marketing tactic but I wonder why they haven't actually officially said anything about this?!

Riley and Victoria hangin out!

The two Twilight newcomers - Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel -- have definitely become best pals on their Vancouver location. They're seemingly inseparable even when they're not shooting. Of course, it helps that the two are staying in the same hotel and often head out to work together, as they did on Friday.


But don't get the wrong idea.  Bryce's husband Seth Gabel and their son Theodore, 2, have been spending a lot of quality time with the actress in Vancouver.  But Bryce, the daughter of director Ron Howard, grew up in show business, and has already appeared in several big budget movies including Spider-Man 3 and Terminator: Salvation.  She's a pro at dealing with fans and fame and has taken Xavier, an Australian making his US debut in Eclipse, under her wing.Their easy friendship made shooting their steamy love scene that much easier.

Ive seen alot of photos of them hanging out together recently. Im glad the cast members are not only co-workers but friends to.

KStew, "Yeah, it killed me, it killed me"

According to Fanbolt:

Kristen Stewart recently revealed that there were several near death moments for not only her character but her as well during the 'New Moon' filming. It wasn't the stunts either that had Stewart so close. The film was extremely emotional for Stewart and had her experiencing a heightened version of reality.

"Like, she literally is going to die; she's going to stop eating and be done," Stewart tells MTV about Robert Pattinson's character Edward leaving her character - Bella. "And the only thing that brings her out of it is this lightness [Jacob] brings."

In 'New Moon' Jacob (played by Taylor Lautner) tries for Bella's affections. However, Jacob doesn't get the response from Bella that he's looking for. "But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], 'It's him; it's always been him!' Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me." Stewart explained.

"Just like everything in our movie, it's such a heightened version of reality. It's like, people don't just break up - they break up and it literally kills you," Stewart adds. "It's not like you just say, 'Oh, I'm really depressed and crying.' Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, 'Am I doing enough? Do I look like I'm going to die?' "

Yea I know we've heard her explain this many times but I really like how deep Kristen is and how far she digs for this role. She truly is a professional.

Melissa Rosenburg Says to Stay Out of Robstew's Private Lives

and I agree. We should! I hate all those stupid rumors about are they dating, were they out together on a date, are they sleeping over at Robs hotel room! Yea I know annoying. But there is nothing we can do about the paparazzi photos because lets face it, though we hate them we cant help but look at them:) and as long as we keep looking at them they'll keep hiding out in bushes to get them for us:(

Just because Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart are such the perfect match on screen, Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg thinks it's time we mind our own business about what goes once the cameras stop rolling.
"Their chemistry on film is so extraordinary," Rosenberg told us at the Entertainment Weekly/Women In Film pre-Emmy party. "They were beautifully cast for those roles and their chemistry is amazing. I think people often confuse chemistry on-screen with chemistry off-screen.
"I think people should just enjoy what's on-screen and leave their privates lives wherever they are," she continued. "I don't actually know what they are."
So what scoop did Ms. Rosenberg tell us about our fave vampire movies? Read on to find out…
First up, Breaking Dawn. Rosenberg is not allowed to could not confirm she's going to be tackling the script. "That's still up in the air," she said. "We're still talking and nothing's been decided."
Eclipse's Riley (Xavier Samuel) will have a much bigger presence in the movie than he has in the Stephenie Meyer's novel. "This is a character that's really interesting and I got a chance to flesh him out," Rosenberg said, adding, "It's going to be really interesting watching the relationship between Riley and Victoria [Bryce Dallas Howard] growing."
As for the next flick to be released, New Moon, she said, "There's a lot of things that go on in New Moon that expand on the book. The conflict at the end with the Volturi is an example. Building on them is going to be really intriguing for the fans."
Among the other guests at the EW/WIF bash was Twilight's original Victoria, Rachelle Lefevre, who is doing just fine since her dramarama with Summit Entertainment, thank you very much. "To be honest, I sort of feel like I have everything," the ginger beauty glowed. "I have an amazing boyfriend, I love my house, I'm wearing a great Jay Godfrey dress and I'm at an Emmy party."
And we can attest to the amazing boyfriend, The Tudors star Jamie Thomas King—well, at least what he looks like. We got a peek of him at the bash and he is quite the hottie.
Also seen mingling at the soiree, which took place at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, were Audrina Patridge, Sela Ward, AnnaLynne McCord, Shaun Sipos, new So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman, Andrea Bowen, Katie Cassidy, Johnny Galecki, John Leguizamo, and Sharon Stone, who made her way through the party on the arm of EW's managing editor Jess Cagle.

Meet Me on The Equinox Trailer

I had to put this up because when the song first got released, I have to admit, I did not like it. I couldnt picture it going along with New Moon. But after watching the trailer along with the song it absolutely works! I love the song. Its amazing what film and music together can accomplish:)

The Killers on New Moon Soundtrack

 

As we all know Death Cab for Cutie has already been confirmed with their song "Meet Me On The Equinox" but what about the rest? Well it looks like we can expect to see The Killers on the soundtrack, along with Grizzly Bear.

According to HitFix:

Representatives for The Killers and Grizzly Bear have confirmed that each will be included on the "Twilight Saga: New Moon" soundtrack, according to an article in the New York Times.

"New Moon" music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who also crafts the music playlists behind "Gossip Girl" and "Grey's Anatomy," sat down with the newspaper to chat about crafting the tracklist, which will be revealed unto the world tomorrow (Sept. 18).

Patsavas declined to comment on the two above mentioned bands, and mentioned she was "confident" that Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and Band of Skulls -- three acts that "New Moon" director Chris Weitz exclusively revealed to HitFix as participants -- would be in the final cut.

"This is a much more somber movie than 'Twilight,'" Patsavas said of the first film. "There is a lot of love lost, so the artists that are going to make up the soundtrack reflect that longing - a lot of acoustic instruments, a lot of a cappella singing. This soundtrack definitely feels a bit more indie than the last one."

Her company/label Chop Shop is releasing the album on Oct. 20, in conjunction with Atlantic.

We've already tried to tell you a few times what a phenomenal band Grizzly Bear is. Plus, the band has gotten some love from Jay-Z and Beyonce, and even had a song makeover by none other than Michael McDonald.

As many "Twilight" junkies know, Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me on the Equinox" -- the soundtrack's first single -- was released to MTV during the MTV VMAs on Sunday. Listen to the whole track below.


I don't know about you guys but I cant wait to hear what song Muse will be contributing to the soundtrack! What would be a perfect song for the soundtrack?

Girls and women(yes I said women) prayers have been answered Rob tweeted. Though it seems rather short for his first and final tweet. But I def loved how in such a short tweet he still added his quirky sense of humor. I think he should tweet again, what about you?
